  • How Having A Web Page Can Can Help Your Business

What everyone is doing right now is searching for ways to help their businesses and ways to help their businesses grow in terms of public knowledge and profit.

What very few people know is that the answer is simple and exists since the Internet was born: business web pages.
Why would someone resort to building a web page to help their business?

Let’s find out together in the following paragraphs of how having a web page can help your business.

  • CSS3 Flexible Box Layout – The future of layouts

What many CSS web designers complained about since the whole CSS language family is the lack of a tool to allow easy vertical and horizontal arrangement of elements on a workspace. Still, CSS doesn’t have a dedicated mean of doing that.

Now you have a CSS box model that is optimized mainly for interface design as the draft describes it. CSS already has some box models and this one is an additional layout.

  • Our very own Administration Template

We got tired of buying all sorts of solutions that weren’t as fit as we hoped. Therefore, we have made our very own administration template.

To preview it click here and to buy it click here.

Check out its spotlight and its 3d rotation when you click on forgot password in the login page.

We tried to make it so that the user experience on it would be great. Still, if you have any remarks or suggestions we await them :)

  • Cross Browser Gradients

We’ve been using CSS gradients for quite some time and we think it’s about time we shared them with the world (or at least the part of the world that did not already know about them). It works on almost all of the current browsers. It works in Firefox 3.6+, Safari, Chrome, Opera and IE6+.

  • jQuery Plugin – inputToSelect – date picker

Have you ever had this problem ? Put a date picker with 3 selects (day, month and year) ? We’ve had this in many designs and it has always bugged us.

  • We should change the name of the blog…

… to “Adventures of Bill Gates & Internet Explorer”. Today we had some silly bugs on IE8 (new, updated to day) and it was all caused because of a comment before the doctype (a comment that we always put as a mark that the website is made by us and a comment that tells us the version which is online). After putting doctype first IE reacted the way it should.

Another mystery solved. I think that Microsoft is searching to spice up the programmers life every now and then because if it everything worked the way it should then the programmers life would be too boring. Thanks Microsoft. &!@#

  • The world is changing…

… and so are we. We are adapting and we are becoming stronger and wiser. We have now released our new version of the website and we are very proud of it. It’s cool and fancy in a way that the more you explore the more you like it :) . We will be adding on a fortnight basis some new features to the website (slick features, features that you may struggle to find and when you do… you will say “cool”).

Overall, we are happy with the direction that we’re going into and we think our clients are too. And now, we are waiting for your comments, let us know what you think about our new website using the comments section.

  • New design for our website

About three months ago we made a new design for our website but we haven’t had the time to implement it (lots of projects to work on). So, I’m asking you right now if you like our new logo :)

Give all kind of feedback (it will only be appreciated)

  • Searching for a PHP developer

Hey, we are looking to increase our team so if you’re a PHP developer and you’ve done CakePHP applications and HTML cutting then we want you! We offer a good working environment, very friendly team, a flexible schedule and a good salary.

Should you be interested please send your resume to ciprian [at] mbe [dot] ro.

PS: The job is full time so you would have to live in Bucharest.

  • Do you think IE should exist?

I calculated that I lose at least an hour a month to deal with IE related issues (that means that I lose a day of my life in two years – A DAY). So I think IE shouldn’t exist (none of them, not IE6..not IE8).

EDIT: I’ve seen that a lot of people have misunderstood what I say here. I don’t want IE to exist ANYMORE, not to never have existed.

Do you think Internet Explorer should exist? (I mean any version not just IE6 or IE8).
